The components for this piece are, Arizona sky, rock from the back yard, sheet of irradized glass, glass beads that I made, Wacom drawing tablet and Adobe Photoshop 5.5. This graphic is part one of two. I propped the sheet of glass and beads at about a 45 degree angle , placed the rock behind and shot it with my digital camera. Opened the image in Adobe Photoshop 5.5, went to Image, Adjust, Levels to give myself pure whites and darks. Changed the resolution to 300 pixel/inch and re sized it to 11x14". Opening a new layer I drew the figure using the Wacom drawing tablet and creating the sphere on yet another layer. I created the light in the sky with Kai's Power Tools KPT-5. |
